DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of Position
The Marketing Automation Specialist will have an in-depth understanding of Marketing Operations function. This role requires developing and executing marketing campaigns within the marketing automation system to help drive lead generation and ongoing customer communications.  The successful candidate will work alongside the Marketing team to help support our objectives.  This role reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Automation.
 

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management:

  • Create, Execute and oversee multiple Marketing Campaigns for Product marketing teams within the Automation tool
  • Work with marketers to convert marketing requirements into End-to-End automated campaigns
  • Contribute to improve Campaign conversions to maximize ROI
  • Design, Code and manage Marketing assets such as Emails, Landing pages and Forms in automation tool
  • Provide best practices on best-in-class communication strategy
  • Complete full QA process before Campaign Go-Live date
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help optimize Campaign calendar
  • Facilitate online webinars for marketing teams

  Data Management:

  • Build, Manage and complete Data mining on lists from various sources for campaign execution
  • Identify opportunity to improve data quality within marketing automation tool; and understand integration with CRM
  • Maintain compliance with CAN-SPAM and keep up-to-date on data hygiene

 Reporting:

  • Monitor, analyze and report on key performance metrics for campaigns; also providing recommendations on best practices
  • Build automated report schedules for Marketing team using marketing automation tool
  • Apply predictive analytics to continually improve demand generation

 

 QualificatioNs

  • 3+ years experience in Marketing Automation using tools like Eloqua, Marketo, Exact Target
  • Hands-on experience for production work (Campaigns, Segmentation, Assets) in automation tool
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Marketing innovation and market trends
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience with API development/troubleshooting are an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL is an asset
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Education:

  • University degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Certification on a marketing automation tool
  • Certification for Content design and/or Data analytics is an asset
